It was called Kick Ass, and it did just that.

So I went out on my voyage of self discovery last night and decided on going to see a movie, BY MYSELF.
Now, for those of you who don't know me, I am a super shy person, I don't mind crowds if I'm with another person(s), but by myself, no can do. So I was thinking, Hey, Eclipse is out now, I'll go try to see that! What was I thinking!?! As I walked out of the parking garage into the upstairs part of the mall where the theater is, I was assaulted by what seemed to be THOUSANDS of BOD wearing, peach fuzzed faced, Pokemon playing prepubescent teens all waiting to get into Eclipse.
DUH!
It was opening night.
How could I have forgotten the mass hoards of people who maniacally drool and fight over who's the next,
Mrs. Cullen

Or to be ravaged by Jacob Black.

So I played it cool, and pretended to get a phone call, and turned around and walked back out to the car. I decided I wasn't going to give up so easily and that no matter what I was going to see a movie. So I turned the car around and went down the street to the dollar theater.
Who doesn't like dollar theater's, they're so cheap, the floors are so sticky, and the seats always seem to be damp.
So I walk in there, so excited to be doing something so independent, and I walk up to the movie board...and the only thing playing around 10 was Kick Ass.
I took a chance, and remembered that I knew of someone who saw it and liked it, so I bought my ticket, popcorn, drink and Reese's Pieces, and 15 dollars later I was in my seat waiting for the movie to start.
There was a surprising amount of people in there for a late movie that has been out so long and I was shocked to see a family of 6, a dad and 5 sons ranging from 7 to 13, in an R rated movie! It may just be me but that just seems wrong on so many levels. Anyway, the movie was pretty good, funny in parts, it was a shock to see Nicholas Cage in it. The Mist-mobile was pretty sweet, I'm not a Mustang fan at all but this one all decked out looked pretty nice. I really want to price Lambo doors for my car now, I'm sure I could install them myself, save on some labor, you just may have to enter and exit my car through the windows. :)
I'm pretty sure I'm going to buy it when it comes out, I would definitely watch it again. Seeing this movie makes me really want a butterfly knife and to learn how to use it. :)

Would Your Rather Wednesday!!

It's that time of the week!!

Ok, here we go!!

Would You Rather Die By...
 being burned in a fire,
or
stabbed in the spinal chord 6 times.

I would choose being stabbed. Hopefully the first or second blow to the spinal cord would paralyze me to the point of not being able to feel it anymore.

I hate being burned.
I worked at a pizza place making pizza's when I was 17 and as I was sliding a pizza into the oven, the back of my left hand scraped down the length of the inside of the oven door, oh man that hurt like a mother! The people inside eating probably heard the most creative words they have ever heard in their lifetime all strung together in one breath. You know what my boss said when he walked in the back after me?

He said, "Oh man, that looks like it hurt, are you able to finish your shift?". I ended up finishing it, even though you use the back of your hand frequently to stretch the dough, I managed like a trooper!!  I had to have my hand wrapped in gauze and wear a glove while cooking for the following two months. It used to be a pretty wicked scar but it has since faded to a less noticeable one.

Can we all get together?

I want to get about 1000 people together, and give every one of them a Sky Dancer and on the count of three release them. I think it might break a record, along with my bank, but hey, it sounds super fun.

Do you remember Sky Dancers?

I remember wanting as many as possible. Its always great to think back to the things we loved growing up. Like pog's, skip-it's, Oregon Trail and the original Transformers on super early in the morning.
Whats your favorite memory of growing up?

Under The Weather...

Today Orlando ranks in the Top 5 worst cities in the nation for pollen count. Guess what. I am severely allergic to pollen. Any kind, im not biased. I'm an equal opportunity allergy case.

This is what I feel like. I seriously feel like I got hit by a truck. Now did you guys really think I would post a picture of myself in all my swollen, stuffy, red glory? Heck no. I will use this small nameless child as an example.

Oh, yes, this is what it making me sneeze, and have a runny nose, and my left eye slam shut for god knows how long.

This just sucks. I have been taking medicine for a month now anticipating allergy season and what good does it do me?? NONE! I accidentally over -dosed on medicine last night and I still feel like total and complete shit. On the box it warns you that if you take more than one pill per 24 hours the worst that will happen is sever drowsiness. I got so excited!! So I took another one. What sucks the most, I couldn't sleep, it did just the opposite. I was lying in bed, my heart started racing, I got twitchy, and wide awake. When my allergies get bad, sleep is just a dream. If I lay down everything settles and my head pounds, if I roll to one side or the other, snot goes everywhere. If I sit up and try to sleep it runs down my face. Not to mention the sneezing fits that seem to last at least 5 minutes each time. Then comes the red nose from blowing it CONSTANTLY. This just isn't a pleasant time, nor do I sound very flattering. I sound like a woman who smoked two packs a day for 60 years. I'm scared to answer the phone at work, in case someone mistakes me for a him and calls me sir. YOUR WORKING?!? You may say. Ohh yes, nothing comes between a man and his golf balls. Its really fun when I bend over a bucket and snot threatens to fall out of my nose and into the bucket. So, i'm stuck here, working/dying till 4 today. Then have MOUNTAINS of homework to do. When do I get a break?
If anyone knows a good, easy vegetarian chicken noodle soup recipe, send it my way. Or make me some and send it. If you have any good allergy remedies or weird stuff you do to help them please don't hesitate to let me know! My head might actually explode before the day is over. :(
